Eligibility Criteria for AIIMS Jammu Recruitment 2024
Professor:
For Medical Candidates:
- 14 years of teaching and/or research experience after obtaining an MD/MS degree or equivalent.
- 12 years of teaching and/or research experience after obtaining a 2-year or 5-year M.Ch./D.M. degree (post-MBBS) or equivalent.
- 11 years of teaching and/or research experience after obtaining a 3-year M.Ch./D.M. degree or equivalent.
For Non-Medical Candidates:
- 14 years of teaching and/or research experience in the relevant discipline after obtaining a doctorate.
Additional Professor:
For Medical Candidates (General Discipline):
- 10 years of teaching and/or research experience after obtaining an MD/MS degree or equivalent.
For Super Specialty Disciplines:
- 8 years of teaching and/or research experience after obtaining a 2-year or 5-year D.M./M.Ch. degree (post-MBBS) or equivalent.
- 7 years of teaching and/or research experience after obtaining a 3-year D.M./M.Ch. degree or equivalent.
For Non-Medical Candidates:
- 10 years of teaching and/or research experience in the relevant discipline after obtaining a doctorate degree.
Associate Professor:
For Medical Candidates (General Discipline):
- 6 years of teaching and/or research experience after obtaining an MD/MS degree or equivalent.
For Super Specialty Disciplines:
- 4 years of teaching and/or research experience after obtaining a 2-year or 5-year D.M./M.Ch. degree (post-MBBS) or equivalent.
- 3 years of teaching and/or research experience after obtaining a 3-year D.M./M.Ch. degree or equivalent.
For Non-Medical Candidates:
- 6 years of teaching and/or research experience in the relevant discipline after obtaining a doctorate degree.
Assistant Professor:
MBBS or Equivalent: Recognized by the IMC Act, 1956, or NMC for practicing medicine in India.
Qualifying Degree: MCh or equivalent recognized by the NMC, in the relevant subject.
Experience:
- 1 year of teaching experience is required for 2 or 5-year course degrees.
- No extra experience is needed for 3 or 6-year course degrees.
Pay Scale of AIIMS Jammu Recruitment 2024
- Professor: Level-14-A, Rs. 1,68,900 – 2,20,400 (7th CPC) + usual allowances, including NPA.
- Additional Professor: Level-13-A2+, Rs. 1,48,200 – 2,11,400 (7th CPC) + usual allowances, including NPA.
- Associate Professor: Level-13-A1+, Rs. 1,38,300 – 2,09,200 (7th CPC) + usual allowances, including NPA.
- Assistant Professor: Level-12, Rs. 1,01,500 – 1,67,400 (7th CPC) + usual allowances, including NPA.
